How far one package of each grout goes on common tile sizes, taken from the manufacturer's technical data sheet. Open a product to calculate grout for your own tile and joint width.

Coverage per package for 12 x 12 x 3/8 in tile at a 1/8 in joint (or the product's default joint if 1/8 in is outside its range), using each calculator's conservative formula. Last column: packages to buy for 100 sq ft plus 10% waste.
